This is my website... so far! Feel free to checkout my tabs to see what I got going on :D
Born in Houston, Texas, I was the first in my family to be born outside of Iran. My parents are immigrants and brought over my two older brothers in 1999 to start a family in America. Although I was young, I would visit Iran often up until the age of 14. Being Persian is a big part of who I am, in my language, culture, and upbringing. I can't wait to go back!
I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, with major in political communications and minor in government, I soon plan on attending grad school, starting fall 2022. I have previously interned at MBFC, a historic law firm in the heart of Austin. I now do research at UT's LBJ School for Public Affairs on the Austin Area Sustainability Indicators Project, or A2SI. I hope to use my skills through to ultimately make our planet a better place through policy administration and communication. |
Some other things I like to do is paint, as you can see in the "Art" tab of my page. I am also an avid runner, and will perhaps make a separate blog section to note my runs. I have recently been getting into rock-climbing, and hopefully that is something I can continue to get involved with. I used to play soccer, but now I express that through the occasional rounds of hackey sack. I try to travel as much as I can, to take advantage of my opportunities. You can see this in my "Adventures" tab. I love to hang out with my friends, because I do in fact have the best ones around. You can learn much more about me through exploring this page!
